Dow Honda Winter Series Wraps Up
Well that's a wrap folks. We had a great time, we raced 38 times on 10 nights, and made a lot of new friends. Almost 100 drivers jumped in karts to test their skills with almost 350 individual entries. Doing the math? That's over 14,000 laps in the main race and another 5,000 or so in qualification. March Break took its toll on our numbers as only 29 were able to make it over to TK for the 8th race of the 2009 edition of the Dow Honda Indoor Classic. But 26 of these guys (and girl) were able to best the baseline lap of 21.296- that's almost 90% for you math buffs. Fast! As was presented at the Spring AGM, we are moving towards 100% online registration for 2009. As such, there will be an extra fee of $20 to register at the track on the morning of the race. 38 racers showed up for some great racing at Top Karting for the 2009 Dow Honda Indoor Classic. The baseline lap was set in one of the faster karts (32 by TK Staffer Sebastien Riel) at 21.148, on a slightly longer track configuration. Race 12 will be held on September 28 at SLMP.There will be a practice session on Friday September 26 and Saturday September 27. Practice for both days is only $40- practice for 1 day is $25. There will be NO parking or pit fees for Race 12.

OKCC EVENT LOWERS ENTRY FEES AND ADDS MORE PRIZES AND ENTERTAINMENT TO THE EVENT!!!!Innisfil Kart Club and Mosport International Karting Association, the hosts of the 2nd Ontario Kart Club Challenge event, have decided to show the karters what OKCC is all about by lowering the entry fees from $80.00 to $60.00.

Tech Bulleting NCKC-08-01 has just been posted on the Memebers section of this site regarding chassis fasteners.Please note that all karts have to comply to all of the bulletin requirements by race 7 at Quyon. There will be a full tech inspection before and after the races at this event. It would be nice to have everyone comply with all of the requirements by this Sunday's SLMP event but common sense should be used and everything should be secured properly.

Novice/Junior Rookie Drivers Course
This years Novice/Junior Rookie drivers course will be held Saturday April 26th at SLMP (Directions).Start time is 10am at the tire wall near the scales/pit exit.

SPEC FUEL REMINDER
Just a reminder that the spec fuel is ESSO 91 octane from a station in Ottawa.During the fuel testing last week, a few people were found using the non-spec fuel and were given the benefit of the doubt. Anyone failing fuel tech this week will be DQ'ed.

The current rules state that raceday trophies will be awarded based on total points for the day.The rule should read the trophies will be awarded based on the finishing order of the final heat in each class.
