Nice video. But I think I noticed Mike not raising his hand exiting the track after the final. Isn't that a penalty?

Hmm. Nice catch Ron. As Clerk of the Course, I'm going to issue a 1 position penalty, effectively putting me in 4th and Mike in 5th. I think I deserve it

Thanks Mike. I only made the sound mistake once. The rest of the season will be full sound.

The first 3 times I tried to upload these videos to Youtube, they ended up without sound. I finally got sound on them by uploading the raw, unedited videos, so I'm doing all of the stabilization and trimming using Youtube's built-in tools. Over the next day the parts in the pits will be chopped off and the Prefinal video will get stabilized so it's not so shaky.

I did notice 3 or 4 other karts at SLMP with cameras attached to them in the same spot. I'm hoping we all get to see those videos too

Hi Greg

I guess that is the peril of a helmet cam..... it provides great action footage... but can it be reviewed by the race director???

Yep. The camera doesn't lie. I wasn't sure if I had caused Mike's spin, and after reviewing the footage, I definitely had. I felt terrible after the incident through the rest of the race and I'm really glad that I gave him the place back and apologized immediately after it ended.
